COACH Ross McNeilly is a big advocate of players earning their shirts – and he should know the benefits, he’s had to do it himself!
The Aldershot Town academy coach was promoted to the interim manager’s job at the EBB Stadium back in mid-October after the Shots parted company with Mark Molesley.
And he’s taken to first-team football like a duck to water, leading the Shots to five wins from eight matches, with three clean sheets, helping them to a season-high placing of 15th in the National League table.
