STOCKSBRIDGE Park Steels managed to edge a battle of a game against relegation-threatened Grantham.
The Gingerbreads will have been wondering how they weren’t ahead in the first half.
Ashton Hall had looped a header over the top of Ben Townsend in the Steels’ goal only for Kurtis Turner to clear off the line. Charlie Jemson also volleyed over from close range. The Steels were much stronger in the second half and they were able to get the only goal of the game.
