NON-LEAGUE clubs spent a record £663,237 on agents fees in the past year, new Football Association figures show.
The sum, accumulated from clubs from the National League downwards, was calculated from February 1, 2022 to January 30, 2023.
Perhaps unsurprinsingly, Wrexham paid the most, parting with £163,737, which was more than any other club in League Two apart from last year’s National League champions Stockport County, who spent £236,944.
