29-YEAR STINT IS OVER

LONG-SERVING Darren Salmon has stepped down as first-team manager of Sutton Common Rovers – ending an incredible stint lasting 29 years and 761 games in charge!
Salmon, one of the longest servants in English senior football, has quit the dugout at Gander Green Lane and gone upstairs to become the Isthmian South Central club’s new general manager, where he will focus on community work and the club’s youth set-up.
