ON Wednesday night, Jarrod Bowen became the first Englishman since Alan Smith in 1994 to score the winning goal in a major European final.
The 26-year-old’s 90th-minute strike earned West Ham United a 2-1 victory over Italian side Fiorentina to seal the UEFA Europa Conference League.
