After last night’s enjoyable opener of The United Counties League Groundhop at Saffron Dynamo, I am joined for today’s four Hop games by The Fox and Essex Joe.
The first match is at Radford FC. It’s always a friendly place to visit, though on this occasion the football doesn’t match the welcome: it ends goalless!! The next match, at Gedling Miners Welfare, brings a whole new meaning to the word soporific. At least there’s a goal in this game: a late cock-up by the home keeper.
