FORMER Manchester United and England goalkeeper Ben Foster has been appointed as patron of Step 7 side Earlswood Town.
Leamington-born Foster, 40, who came out of retirement to play for Wrexham, and who began his career at Racing Club Warwick before playing for Stoke City, Manchester United, Birmingham City, West Bromwich Albion and Watford, has sponsored the Midland League Division Two side for the past two seasons, at first through his Cycling GK YouTube channel as sleeve sponsor.
He is now the Malthouse Lane club’s principal sponsor with the logo for his Fozcast – the Ben Foster Podcast – emblazoned on the front of both their home and away shirts.
