BARNET chief Dean Brennan has called on the National League board to look at the ‘ridiculous’ decision not to implement a five-substitution rule.
EFL sides followed the Premier League’s lead last season, when a change was vetoed to allow a quintet of alterations to be made by managers each game.
But the National League have not followed suit, with only five substitutes permitted to sit on the bench and three being allowed to enter the fray.
