RAMSGATE chairman James Dawson believes reaching the FA Cup first round is a ‘monumental achievement’ for the Kent minnows.
The Rams will make only their third appearance in the first round when they host National League side Woking at Southwood Stadium on Saturday.
Ben Smith’s men have had to come through five qualifying rounds to get to this stage, but it hasn’t affected their league form having won five of their opening six matches in Isthmian South East Division.
Dawson is naturally proud to have a secured a piece of club history.
