NON-LEAGUE clubs splashed out £715,701 on agents fees alone in the last year, according to new statistics.
Figures disclosed by the FA showed National League strugglers York City topped the charts by paying £128,902, while Oldham Athletic were next highest with £82,161.
Champions Chesterfield were fourth highest with £52,722, behind cashstrapped Southend United, who had a 10-point deduction for failing to to clear an HMRC debt. They spent £60,999.
