MARK HARPER believes Chertsey Town deserve their place among the higher echelons of Non-League after taking them back to Step 3 following a sensational first season in charge.
The former Curfews player took over at Alwyns Lane last May with a brief to get the club out of the Isthmian South Central division and has done so in style, losing just once en route to winning the title with two matches left.
