GRANT SMITH reckons he returns to the Football League a more complete keeper.
The former Bognor Regis Town and Boreham Wood stopper had a brief taste in the EFL back in 2018 when he joined Lincoln City.
But he’s had to work hard for a return and the 30-year-old, who saved two penalties in the shoot-out, feels ready to take the opportunity.
“I had a little chance in the League,” Smith, who has also represented England C, told The NLP. “At the time, I was young, inexperienced and a little bit naïve as well. I didn’t really feel I belonged there....
