RYAN Beswick had plenty to weigh up when he was given the chance to take the Quorn managerial reins, but ultimately decided it was too good an opportunity to turn down.
On their return to Step 4 this season, the Leicestershire club finished a creditable fifth in the NPL Midlands before losing at runners-up Anstey Nomads in the play-off semi-finals. However, manager Ant Carney then resigned, leaving the hotseat vacant for a new occupant.
