Sutton United have announced the signing of Siju Odelusi.
The National League side have captured the midfielder from Step 2 Aveley. Odelusi netted 17 in 42 league outings last term for Danny Scopes’ side as they lost out in the play-offs to Maidstone United. He won the club’s Players’ Player of the Year award.
“He was in the top 5% in ball winning from League One to National League South and is also not bad at penalties.
The former West Ham trainee moved to Aveley late in 2022 from Harrow Borough and became part of the Blues’ promotion winning side a year ago to reach National League South for the first time.
Sutton manager Steve Morison told the club’s website:
“He was in the top 5% in ball winning from League One to National League South and is also not bad at penalties.
“His first steps into full time football I hope will help him be even better and we will get to see the best version of himself.
“That will help us massively in achieving what we want on and off the pitch.”
