COMMUNITY HUB: Peter Storrie, fifth left front row, with the Liss Athletic FC first team

ON a recent visit to watch Liss Athletic, of the Hampshire League, I was intrigued to spot a very familiar face taking part in the club’s end-of-season photographs – former West Ham United, Southend United, Notts County, Portsmouth and Charlton Athletic executive Peter Storrie.
Now aged 71, Storrie is chairman of Liss where exciting plans are fully underway to build a Step 6 compliant stadium.
