Asa Hall has signed for Tiverton Town as Player Coach following his release from Torquay United.
The midfielder was Torquay’s longest serving player having spent six years at Plainmoor, winning National League South with them in 2019.
The 37-year-old, who includes Luton Town and Oxford United as previous clubs, will form part of Leigh Robinson’s management team for the Pitching In Southern League Premier South outfit.
Having made over 600 appearances in his career, 192 for Torquay, Robinson is delighted to have Hall’s experience ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Robinson told the official Tiverton Town website:
“His leadership and experience will be vital in terms of embedding the culture that we want at the club, as well as providing vital guidance to our younger players.
“To be clear, Asa has been signed as a player first and this is where we want his focus to be as he has masses to offer on the pitch, but we will also be phasing him into the coaching side of the club in the medium to long term.”
