Curzon Ashton have signed former Manchester City youth defender Timi Sobowale.
Sobowale, who counts England’s Cole Palmer among his former teammates, has jumped two levels to sign for the Nash from Nantwich Town, where he made seven appearances at the end of last season.
The Irishman, who has been capped up to U20 level, has previously represented Waterford, as well as Real Monarchs in USA and Florø SK in Norway.
Upon signing for Curzon, 22-year-old Sobowale told the club’s YouTube channel:
“I’m really delighted to be here. It’s a big club in National League North.
“Everyone has been really friendly. I’m looking forward to showcasing my ability here.”
