COGENHOE United have become the latest club to resign from their league after stepping aside from United Counties Premier South.
The Cooks have been members of the league for 39 years, with 37 continuous seasons in the top flight.
Cogenhoe’s resignation came after manager Scott Carlin quit on the eve of pre-season following talks with officials over the club’s financial plight. A number of first-team players then follow-wed suit.
