CHAIRMAN James Lawson says interim boss Ben Smith is welcome to retake the Ramsgate manager’s hotseat on a permanent basis – if he really wants it.
Former Herne Bay boss Smith led the Rams on a magical journey in his first season in charge last term.
They beat National League side Woking in the FA Cup first round before bowing out in front of the television cameras against AFC Wimbledon. The Kent club also impressed in Isthmian South East, but ultimately finished runners-up behind Cray Valley PM.
