I WRITE with regards the disaster unfolding at my wonderful local club, Hitchin Town, which has received little press coverage.
Our last home win was on October 28, 2023; in 2024 they have won one game (back in April), drawn four and lost 20.
With a new manager (and no bounce) they have conceded 17 goals this season and sit rock bottom – this after a reprieve.
Still there are no club statements or messages to the many loyal supporters. Is it all a bit ‘cosy’?
