I’VE been enthralled by the rapid rise to prominence of Mousehole AFC – the most westerly football club in our English National League System.
Based in a tiny Cornish fishing village (population 554) less than 10 miles off Land’s End, the Seagulls have ascended from South West Peninsula League status to Step 4 in the Southern League Division One South inside a three-year purple patch.
So I embarked on the massive 650-mile round trip to the delightfully named Trungle Parc to find out more.
