MOUSEHOLE returned home from their epic 520-mile round trip to West Berkshire and with a full set of three points.
Aldershot loanee George Thorpe assisted in two early goals for Oli Bourne in the seventh minute and for Shamar Moore in the 12th as Thatcham started strongly.
Mousehole were handed a lifeline at the start of the second half as Torin Ntege converted from the penalty spot before flicking a long ball on to Mark Goldsworthy who raced through to score in the 62nd minute.
