SANCTION: Wythenshawe Town have been suspended

WYTHENSHAWE Town have been suspended from the Northern Premier League – and reprimanded for being “misleading” as to the reasons why.
The Step 4 newcomers revealed in a social media post on Thursday that they had been sanctioned under the Financial Reporting Initiative (FRI) to which all clubs at Steps 1-4 are subject.
As a result, their NPL West division fixture with Stafford Rangers yesterday was postponed but, in a bizarre twist, Wythenshawe then deleted their post, prompting the NPL to explain the confusion in a no-holdsb...
