FAMOUS Northern League club West Allotment Celtic are “on the brink of folding” after losing a key sponsor amidst a desperate battle to attract supporters and make the club sustainable.
Allotment have experienced one of the most challenging periods of their history and have been without a home of their own for decades. After playing ‘home’ games at Druid Park, some 13 miles away from their home village, the Green and Whites seemed to be on their way back when they agreed a groundshare agreement with Northern Alliance club Forest Hall.
