This month, I visited a friendly, well-run club, Flint Town United. Taking the train from Chester, I arrived in anticipation of another adventure and kindred spirits. Flint is clearly in Wales, but there is also a feeling of being in the borderlands with various accents. They enrich the place with its proximity to Liverpool and the frontier to the Irish sea at Holyhead.
