A NEW HOME IS SWEET FOR CITY

CAMBRIDGE CITY are all set for an emotional homecoming on Saturday when they end their 11-year wait to play in their own stadium again.
The Lilywhites’ Isthmian North clash with Tilbury will mark the official opening of their newly-built ground on the outskirts of Cambridge, in Sawston.
It has been a long journey to finally reach this point having left their Milton Road home – where they’d spent 91 years – at the end of the 2012-13 season after it was sold from underneath them for housing.
