DANNY REDMOND fired home an 89th minute winner to take The New Saints to within a point of the top of the table after a 3-2 home win over leaders Penybont.
The reigning champions still have a game in hand over their biggest rivals for a repeat title and the victory helped to erase their 3-1 defeat against bottom of the table Briton Ferry Llansawel earlier in the week.
