END OF AN ERA: Ben Strevens has left Dagenham & Redbridge after 21 months in charge

DAGENHAM & Redbridge say the decision to part company with manager Ben Strevens this week was made with a “heavy heart”.
The 44-year-old left Victoria Road after a disappointing Christmas period which saw a 3-0 defeat by Wealdstone last Saturday followed by a 4-2 home loss to Braintree Town on Boxing Day.
In all, the Daggers have won just two of their last nine matches and lie 16th in the table, five points clear of safety.
