MUCH MISSED: Peter Wragg
MACCLESFIELD FC have led the tributes to “colossal” former manager Peter Wragg, who has passed away.
Wragg is held in legendary status by a number of Non-League clubs for his success in the dugout in the 80s and 90s.
He managed Leek Town, Stalybridge Celtic, winning their first ever league title in 1979-80 and later saving them from relegation from the Conference in 1993, and Chorley – where the Magpies won promotion from the Cheshire League to the Northern Premier League.
