LEIGH Herrick has taken over as manager of Bottesford Town until the end of the season.
Herrick had been assistant to Mike Thompson, who quit the day after Town’s 4-2 Northern Counties East Premier defeat at Silsden last Saturday after a 20-month spell in charge.
A Town statement said: “Everyone at Bottesford would like to thank Mike for the hard work and dedication he has put into the club since becoming manager and we wish Mike nothing but the best for the future.”
