LIAM WATSON has agreed to take over as manager of recently-relegated AFC Telford United.
Watson, who recently quit as Southport manager, will be unveiled at the New Bucks Head tonight when Telford host their annual end-of-season presentation evening.
The former Runcorn and Burscough boss has been linked with the Shropshire club since announcing his intention to leave the Sandgrounders when their Blue Square Bet Premier safety was assured last month.
The Bucks went down, but chairman Lee Carter will pin their hopes of a swift return on the shoulders of reigning NLP Manager of the Year Watson, who has already won the BSB North title twice.
