ENGLAND C star Tom Crawford earned an immediate reward for his Three Lions call-up – a move to League Two side Notts County.
The 19-year-old shone amid a disappointing season at Chester last year, with the Blues relegated to National League North.
But on completing the deal for an undisclosed fee, Crawford said: “It’s a great birthday present to sign at Meadow Lane.
“I loved every minute of my time at Chester and I was disappointed we went down but, for me to get into the team and play 17 games and score a goal was a big achievement.”
