SOUTH SHIELDS will welcome Newport Pagnell Town in the FA Vase quarter-finals with clubs now just two rounds away from a trip to the home of English football.
Shields, 5-2 winners at Team Solent on Saturday, were the first name out of the velvet bag and they will face a Newport Pagnell side who were victorious against Sunderland RCA in the fifth round.
Southall, Vase runners up in 1985-86, will be hoping to reach another final but they face a tough Cleethorpes Town side who saw off Atherton Collieries on Saturday.
Bromsgrove Sporting saw a crowd of almost 1,500 cheer them on to victory against Bristol Manor Farm and the Worcestershire outfit will be expecting another big attendance for the visit of Buckland Athletic.
There will also be an all-Midland League tie as Coleshill Town, 6-3 winners at Crowborough Athletic on Saturday, take on Sporting Khalsa.
The quarter-final victors will pick up £3,375 from the FA’s prize fund while losing clubs will pocket £1,125. The four games are scheduled to be played on Saturday, February 18.
