Luton’s Lawless Scoops FA Cup Prize

ALEX LAWLESS has been named Player of the Third Round after firing Luton Town to victory over Wolves.

The midfielder crashed home a fine volley shortly after half time to give the Hatters a shock 1-0 win against a side three divisions above them.

His goal booked the Bedfordshire club a trip to Premier League side Norwich City in the Fourth Round and, while they may not make it all the way to , Lawless will courtesy of competition sponsors Budweiser and The FA.

Along with his invitation to the final, the 29-year-old receives a Player of the Round trophy to commemorate his achievement.

Lawless beat Town’s Matthew Barnes-Homer, Aldershot striker Danny Hylton and Brighton & Hove Albion pair Andrea Orlandi and Liam Bridcutt to the prize.
