A crowd of over 1000 saw AFC Hornchurch crowned champions of Essex on Monday evening.
The Urchins are currently embroiled in a battle to beat relegation from the Conference South but put that out of their minds to sink Ryman Division One North champions Grays Athletic 2-1 in the Senior Cup final.
Grays, who clinched the Step 3 title with a 17th consecutive win on Saturday, took the lead through Jared Small on 61 minutes.
But Hornchurch hit back immediately via Lewis Smith and the frontman scored again with 18 minutes to give his side what turned out to be a match-winning advantage.
There was some late drama, with Grays netting in the last minute of the match, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside.
The victory sees the Urchins secure the country trophy for the first time since 2007.
