WHITBY Town have beaten off a number of clubs to complete the signing of former Hartlepool United and Bristol Rovers winger Andy Monkhouse.
The 36-year-old joins the Seasiders after a spell with National League North Alfreton and becomes Chris Hardy’s first signing of the summer.
Monkhouse comes with great experience, having made over 400 Football League appearances spanning 19 years.
