LITHERLAND REMYCA beat AFC Liverpool in the club’s first ever FA Cup clash at Litherland Sports Park.
After several chances for Paul McNally’s side in the first half, it was Colin McDonald who broke the deadlock in the 67th minute when Alex Ryan’s strike was cleared off the line straight to McDonald.
The centre-forward tucked home from five yards out and ran off to celebrate with the club’s supporters, scoring the club’s first ever FA Cup goal.
