SHAW LANE recorded their first-ever win in the FA Cup by beating Radcliffe Borough.
It was Shaw Lane that almost broke the deadlock when an Alex Byrne cross found Ryan Qualter but his effort came back off the post.
Just four minutes later Chib Chilaka found the net with a volley from the left of the box.
With Shaw Lane 1-0 up, things got interesting on 18 minutes when Jon Stewart, the Ducks keeper, took one touch too many and was closed down by Radcliffe’s striker.
