■WARE progressed to the second qualifying round for the first time in nine years with victory over Witham Town.
The hosts settled themselves with an early goal from Denzel Conteh, with Ware doubling their lead through Yannick Kamanan for his third FA Cup goal.
In the second period it should have been three after the impressive Elliot Charles got away down the right and crossed for Rheo Josephs who lost his footing and the chance went begging.
Elliot Ronto halved the arrears with a well executed free-kick over the wall.
