MARLOW exacted revenge on their Beaconsfield Town opponents for knocking them out of last year’s FA Cup with a hard fought victory at Holloways Park.
A pretty even first half saw Marlow keeper Simon Grant save well from an Aaron Morgan effort while the Rams’ Jamie Norris did likewise from an Isaac Osei-Tutu chance.
The second period saw further good saves by Grant to deny Charlie Losasso and Aaron Minhas before the lively Jordan Brown jinked his way past the Beaconsfield defence to put his side ahead on 78 minutes.
