IT WAS an evenly contested first half at Sharpenhoe Road but AFC Dunstable went in at the break-with a slender lead.
That was thanks to a Nathan Frater goal after 12 minutes when he capitalised on some static Rovers defending.
Rovers did create a couple of good scoring opportunities but these were squandered.
The home side were on the front foot from the restart and Ryan Haugh was initiating a lot of the good possession.
