After taking a surprise early lead, the Martyrs were finally denied a last-gasp equaliser which would have taken the tie back to South Wales for a replay.
The visitors started the stronger, and man-of-the-match Mo Touray turned defender Ed Harris inside out before producing an inch-perfect cross which Ian Traylor headed past a helpless keeper Ryan Young from close range.
