■JOHN MILLS scored two penalties as Hereford stormed into the next round with a comfortable victory at Hillgrounds.
The hosts had the first opportunity of the game with less than five minutes on the clock as Ash Fuller beat three Hereford players before pulling back to Ben Shepherd who couldn’t keep his shot down.
The rest of the first half was evenly poised with neither side able to take full control until five minutes before the break when Gary Preen’s low shot beat Martin Conway in the Kempston goal to give the visitors the lead.
