HARROGATE TOWN overcame a spirited Penistone first half performance to progress to the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round.
Josh Falkingham was first to go close for the hosts, curling a first time shot towards goal from just outside the area, but seeing his effort bounce back off the cross bar.
The hosts then rattled the woodwork for the second time of the afternoon as Joe Leesley’s free kick looked to be finding the top corner, but could only agonisingly find the frame of the goal.
