GRANTHAM went out of the FA Cup to Alvechurch by the odd goal in seven.
Alvechurch made the perfect start with a goal from Babucar Sauane in the first minute.
Josh March made it two from the penalty spot on 31 minutes before Grantham’s Stefan Galinski pulled one back.
Alvechurch increased their lead before half time when March took advantage of a defensive error.
Another goal was pulled back on 74 minutes when Rhys Lewis headed home a free-kick, with Grantham pushing forward for an equaliser, only to be caught on the break by Luke Yates.
