■ HEREFORD struck twice in the second period to move into the fourth qualifying round for the first time in their short history.
Keyon Reffell’s tap-in and a John Mills penalty ensured that the Bulls, in their third season, progressed in front of 2,440 fans, including 54 from Hornchurch, at Edgar Street.
There were chances at both ends in the first period although Hereford slightly edged the balance of play.
The hosts’ best opening fell to Reffell, who was picked out by Mills after the Bulls’ top-scorer had turned full-back Jamie Hursit inside-out. B...
