GAINSBOROUGH TRINITY sprung an FA Cup upset with a hard fought win over National League North leaders Harrogate Town.
Simon Weaver’s side looked to be on course for a place in the first round for the first time in five years after Josh Falkingham followed up George Thomson’s effort to put Town ahead 34 minutes in.
Jordan Thewlis had the ball in the net again in the last action of the first half but was offside, before Trinity hit back.
