■ IT ENDED honours even in Ossett United’s first venture into the F.A. Cup against Mossley from NPL Division 1 West.
After a goalless first half not short on chances, the game sprung to life when a long ball forward found Aidan Chippendale who scored but was then ruled offside.
But a penalty to United soon after allowed Adam Priestley to fire them in front.
Mossley responded strongly but Tom Corner doubled United’s lead on the hour mark.
