AFTER dispatching Molesey 8-1 in their replay mere days before, Lewes travelled to Farnborough searching for a scalp.
Despite a continual pummelling, Lewes’ rearguard held resolute.
Lewes shuffled their deck with a double substitution over half-time which worked wonders as sub Lloyd Cotton immediately broke the deadlock.
Lewes’s lead lasted till the hour when Connor Calcutt finally netted.
Lewes restored their advantage on 63 minutes, again through Cotton, Farnborough responding immediately through Kurtis Cumberbatch.
