Basford tumble out as pair are sent off

BASFORD United were sent crashing out of the FA Cup by Staveley, ending the game with nine men following two dismissals.
It was a hugely disappointing result for Basford who limply crashed out of the competition against their rivals.
The game got off to a dramatic start, Basford’s Matt Thornhill being dismissed for hand ball in the fifth minute, Adam Baskerville converting the spot kick to give Staveley the lead.
After Basford’s Nat Watson hit the bar, Baskerville doubled the lead from ten yards after 22 minutes.
